The Worst Kind of Foods on earth!

By Vanessa Summer

There are so many foods around that, though delightful, are incredibly bad for you. While we can identify many of these foods on sight--most of the food you will order at a fast food restaurant, for example, is quite enjoyable to eat but will do terrible things to your body and is made of far too many calories to even be considered healthy. But what about each one of those foods that, on the exterior, seem like wise choices? What about the meals you order for your kids? Keep reading to read precisely what a number of the most detrimental things in the world are to feed to your family members (or yourself).

Macaroni and cheese, contrary to popular belief, is among the worst things that one could order. The type you produce at home by yourself using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese food from California Pizza Kitchen, as an example is frighteningly bad. This one particular meal includes over a thousand calories, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! That seriously isn't even a little bit nutritious.

How often do you purchase a new frozen pot pie from the freezer section of your grocery store? On the exterior these seem like fine, healthy last minute dinners or lunches but the fact is that most of them are loaded with extra calories. The pot pies made by Stouffer's, for instance, are full of virtually eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium, more than sixty grams of fat and more than eleven hundred calories. You could end up eating your entire recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You are probably under the impression that if you are going to get something from a sandwich shop, the vegetarian sandwich is your healthiest option, right? The actual truth is that these kinds of sandwiches are usually dressed with dressings and other condiments which contribute to making them just as unhealthy as a meat-based sandwich. The vegetarian sub from Blimpies, as an example, contains almost twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. Why do people believe that is healthy?

A salad must be healthy, right? This is typical idea anyway. If we want something that is healthy and speedy, most of the time we look for a salad to fill us up with food that is healthy for us. It might surprise you then to read that some salads are not all that healthy. There are eighteen hundred calories inside Santa Fe chopped salad offered by TGI Fridays. This is almost certainly due to the fact that this specific salad is the size of a large dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

The simple fact is that much of the foods that we order while we are on the go or from restaurants is just not as good for us as the food that we cook and prepare for ourselves. We realize that you may not be in love with the notion of cooking for yourself but the truth is that, specifically when you're trying to lose weight and improve your health, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
