A Review Of The Ice Cream Diet - Can You Really Lose Weight While Eating Ice Cream?

Believe it or not, but the Ice Cream Diet has been turning a lot of heads, lately, and for a lot of reasons, too. The creator mentioned, in Prevention magazine, that you'll experience the weight loss you need and be able to chow down on ice cream each day. We really wanted to know what was up with this diet, and we found out; so keep reading to hear our review of the Ice Cream Diet.

First, we have to give credit because the Ice Cream Diet actually tells you that you need to eat good quality fruits, vegetables, and get proper fiber. What is surprising about the Ice Cream Diet, the name kills us, is you will be eating a daily diet consisting of healthy whole foods that are low in calories. The diet instructions, or suggestions, contain solid information for what you can safely eat to accomplish your objectives, and they'll help you out with what you can order when you're out eating. It's interesting that some are surprised, and maybe dismayed, that the 'safe' limits for ice cream consumption are on the sparse side, and why is that not surprising? The thing about ice cream is to be able to have a daily treat, or a reward, as you progress with the diet. The end result is your ability to experience weight loss while being able to enjoy some good stuff each day.

Many people assume that the only way to stomach this diet is to add the icecream to less desirable ingredients. Calcium content may be what you need to lose weight. Studies incdicate that calcuim is essential for weight loss. Fat is burned more efficiently when you consume calcium. Calcium supplements are always an option, but calcium rich foods are better for you. The Ice Cream Diet recommends that you do regular exercise.

People can work against their own efforts simply by consuming too few calories plus eliminating dairy products. What is also covered in the Ice Cream Diet book is why it's important to obtain calcium more from foods than from external supplements. The Ice Cream Diet gives you a way to lose weight while consuming enough calcium every day.

The Ice Cream Diet is effective for a lot of people; however it is really not for everyone. A person must be able to stick with the concept and practice of moderation because it does involve eating ice cream every day. Unfortunately, there are people who find it almost impossible to consume only a little of something they love. We all know there are people who will not be able to eat a little ice cream and call it quits for the day. The Ice Cream Diet is really for people who are able to exert some control, to some reasonable degree, and they're the ones who will see the greatest amount of success.

You can lose weight with the Ice Cream Diet, and you'll have to do your part just like with any other diet. Also, should you decide to "cheat" on the amount of daily ice cream, then don't be surprised if you gain weight or don't lose it. This diet allows you to lose weight, get healthier, and give yourself a daily treat along the way. Cool, we think.
